This is a group for Section Community 11Front at the 9 AM service.Our Section Community parties are on the 4th Sunday each month, after the service, in the Activity Center.
Our leaders are Scott & Benita Straight, Joe & Robin Squatrito, and Michael & Sharon Hagerty.
Scott and Benita have been happily married for 34 years and lived in CO for over 22 years. They are both retired engineers having worked in high tech. They have two adult sons and a daughter in law who are walking with the Lord, praise God. Benita loves to walk, read and garden. Scott enjoys volunteering at Springs Rescue Mission and Tri-Lakes Cares. Scott and Benita lead a couples bible study through Community Bible Study. Together, they enjoy hiking and snowshoeing in the mountains. Section Community is the best thing that has happened to NLC since they made it their home.
Joe and Robin married in 1984 at Peterson AFB. Joe was raised in Texas and Robin is from Ohio. They are both retired USAF officersâ??Joe served for 30 years and Robin for 28 years. They have lived in Colorado Springs since 1996â??a great place to raise a family. They have two adult children, both wonderful Christ-followersâ??their daughter is a CPA and son is a Mechanical Engineer. They love to travelâ??and Joe enjoys the outdoors and hiking while Robin likes reading and walking. They appreciate having an extended church family and fellowship through weekly Community Bible Study. They both also enjoy serving NLC North as Section Hosts and as Communion servers. They look forward to meeting you in Section 11F-9AM.
Mike was born and raised in Colorado. Sharon grew up on a farm/ranch in North Dakota. Travel adventures throughout the world, friends, family, and the Colorado outdoors are our interests, where we enjoy ATVing, hiking, motorcycles, shooting, bicycling and other activities. We currently live in Briargate with our three Golden Retrievers. We have attended New Life Church for over 34 years, being active in Bible studies, mission trips, & different ministries (children's church, TAG teen ministry, altar & prayer counseling, cell group leadership, & disaster relief assistance). We are thankful & extremely blessed to call New Life Church our home!
